PC Suite for Smartphones is a program for users of Sony Ericsson Smartphones like P1i, P990i, G700i etc. and comes with the package that goes bundled with those phones.
This program manages the connection between a Sony Ericsson Smartphone and a PC, and synchronizes and backs up data. The program has a file manager that allows you to access the files stored in your phone. You can also copy music files and other files to the phone.
The program consists of several modules that help with specific tasks. The "Mobile Networking" wizard enables the computer to connect to the Internet using phone as a modem. The "Backup manager" allows you to back up and restore data on a phone. The "Application Installer" is used for installing applications on the phone from the PC. The "Sync Manager" is used for synchronizing contacts, calendar events, and other personal information with Outlook Express or other contact managers on the computer; this module has manual and automatic settings, which allow it to synchronize the data every time the phone is connected to the PC. |
